Soma Neuromuscular Integration®: Soma is a form of deep, soft-tissue bodywork, called Structural Integration. The intent of Soma is to affect the structure, posture and alignment of the body by working with the primary medium of fascia. In an 11-session series, we work with our habitual compensation patterns and re-educate the body and mind to move and function in more energetically-efficient and wiser ways. We view the body as more than a collection of its parts and explore the dynamic and awe-inspiring system of interactions where nothing can be isolated and separate. The expression of the deep connections between the "parts" of a larger whole are supremely informative to the life of the whole being. And while we make relationship to these various parts within us, we also begin to hold sacred all the interconnected pieces of life.

Kundalini Yoga: Kundalini Yoga is a lovely and practical study of creating awareness, strength and calm from the internal world. A typical Kundalini class includes a physical (asana) practice, breath work (pranayam), and chanting and meditation. One of my teachers describes KY this way... "Our job in life is to figure out how to be quiet enough to hear the soul's voice and brave enough to do what it says... Kundalini Yoga is a technology to help us do this." I offer both private yoga lessons and class series.
