Pat Bartley

Pat's gentle yoga combines breath, awareness and movement, allowing the body to release tension and improve flexibility. Breathing techniques calm and focus the chattering mind, while deep relaxation soothes jangled nerves and creates a sense of well-being. Students are encouraged to listen to their bodies and to adapt yoga to their unique abilities.
Pat teaches "cubicle yoga" at workplaces to help office workers relieve computer-related symptoms, and she writes a monthly column in FTE News Magazine on "Cubicle Wellness."
Pat is a registered Yoga Alliance teacher (since 1998), and holds certificates from Integrative Yoga Therapy and Integral Yoga Institute for basic hatha yoga and stress management. She has taught chair yoga to people with disabilities, and her formal education includes a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling. Pat has had training from Judith Lasater (restorative yoga), Nischala Joy Devi (cardiac yoga), Jnani Chapman (yoga for people with cancer), Gary Kraftsow (vini-yoga), and various anusara yoga teachers.
